In the Spring of 2007 Roy Dahl and Aqua Landscapes did the reconstruction of our garden pond. This was the most impressive and beautiful home improvement we have done, out of over $100,000 worth of remodeling. Roy’s team had the pond completed in one day, and the work was magnificent. The setting now looks like a natural mountain waterfall and pool, with attractive plants and fish.

The pond has changed our lives at home. We sit by it rather than watch TV each evening. My wife, who has a high stress corporate job, goes the pond immediately upon returning home each night before dinner. She claims it relaxes her like nothing else can. I have been recovering from a total hip replacement this summer, and the pond has drawn me outdoors and been great rehabilitation for healing. Due to the pond, we have taken a new interest in our landscape and made several other improvements that enable us to use our yard like a beautiful room of our house. Our very attitudes are more positive, and we are not stuck in the rut of daily routines anymore, since we have something elegant to look forward to seeing each day.

The Pond Tour of 2007 was a thrill! We were visited by many people who either had ponds already or were interested in having them built. It was inspiring to talk with people who had knowledge or similar interests with us. My wife and I feel as if part of a community of people who want to daily enjoy the beauty and therapy of water gardens. All the people we met were the finest sorts who value beauty and the peace of running water gardens.
